When will my goods be delivered?
  • If your order is received by midday Monday to Friday, and the item is in stock, we will aim to despatch the same day.

  • Approximate despatch dates for out of stock and pre-order items will be provided via email within 48 hours from check out.

  • All orders and part orders shipped will be confirmed on the day of despatch.

  • Orders direct from suppliers are subject to their own delivery dates, but we will endeavour to keep you informed.

  • Any items delivered on a pallet will be curbside only as delivery drivers are not permitted to assist you with placing items in your home/premise.

  • Deliveries will be via delivery service and at the price specified at checkout unless the item is coming direct from the manufacturer.

  • Please note that all services rely on third-party couriers to deliver on time and in good order. We will of course do our best to ensure that your delivery arrives when stated at the time of purchase, however, we cannot be held liable for delays caused by the delivery company.
  • If you want to cancel your purchase, please email us on returns@marinefishworld.co.uk within 14 working days of the items being delivered, quoting the order number, your surname and the delivery address. Once received, returns will be accepted within 14 days of the sale, provided that the goods and packaging are in an unused and resaleable otherwise a refund will not be offered.

  • Please ensure that you package the goods adequately to avoid damage during transit and ensure the correct postage price is chosen. Unfortunately, returns involving delivery or postage surcharges will be not paid by us and will be returned to you.

  • It is important that you obtain proof of posting as the goods are your responsibility until they are received by us. We can only refund postage costs if goods are returned within this period and purchased under our Replacement Policy.

  • If you have received an incentive with your purchase, the cost of this will be deducted from the refund.

  • Please note that we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of £20 per item and this will be deducted from your refund.
  • Goods that develop faults should be reported to us as soon as possible via email. If a serious fault develops within the first 14 days of receiving it, and it’s not an installation or user error issue, please return the item to us for testing and we may arrange for a replacement to be sent to you.

  • Where possible replacement parts will be dispatched and where this isn’t possible, we will ask you to return the goods to us in line with our Returns Policy. You will need to complete a Returns Request Form which will be emailed to you by return of your email notifying us of an issue. Once we have verified the nature of the fault or damage, either we or the manufacturer will supply replacements as required.

  • Where items returned to us are deemed to be in good working order, we are not able to refund your return or postage costs and we reserve the right to deduct our original postage cost and a £20 restocking fee from any refund.

  • We cannot take responsibility for any consequential loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from goods supplied. Please be aware that all items purchased as a used or ex-display model will not retain a manufacturer’s warranty and are sold as seen.

  • If when the goods are delivered to you and the packaging is badly damaged, refuse the delivery and email us with a photograph of the damage, to confirm that you have done so. We are unable to refund the cost of the goods if you fail to declare damaged packaging or goods on delivery. 

  • It is important that you obtain proof of posting as the goods are your responsibility until they are received by us. We can only refund postage costs if goods are returned within this period and purchased under our Replacement Policy and will only refund the cost of standard postage.

  • If faulty or damaged goods are received, you must notify us within 14 working days.
  • Goods bought by the Click and Collection option need to be collected within 7 days of purchase or your payment will be refunded minus a £10.00 restocking fee.

Marine Fish World will reward each purchase with one point per £1 spent and you can accumulate points to spend on whatever you need, including aquariums and lights etc.  

We may from time to time run special offers where you will receive more than one point per £1 spent, which will help you accumulate points even faster!

Please note that if you place an order which is subsequently cancelled, any points awarded will be deducted from your total and if any vouchers have been used towards any other purchases, you will receive a refund minus any rewards you have received.
