Manufacturer’s Guarantees

We work with the manufacturers to ensure their guarantees are honoured and we use best endeavours to resolve issues within the warranty period. We can only refund postage costs under the manufacturer’s guarantee if the goods are returned to us within 14 days of the original purchase. We will not refund postage costs for guarantee/warranty returns unless the product becomes faulty within 14 days of receipt. We can only offer replacements parts or replacement goods when authorised by the manufacturer. Returns will not be accepted without prior approval. We can only offer to replace damaged glass items if we are notified within 48 hours of you receiving the delivery. We cannot replace glass bulbs/tubes unless they become faulty within the initial 14 day period.

Electrical Equipment

Please be aware that aquarium skimmers, pumps and filters, and other electrical goods emit varying degrees of noise during normal operation that you may consider to be excessive. The manufacturer calculates the decibel levels and can be subjective. Return of goods under these circumstances requires the agreement of the manufacturer and where they deem goods returned to be in good working order, we are unable to offer a refund and may charge return postage. We withhold the right to repair any electrical goods and a replacement will only be issued is the manufacturer or UK distributor decides this is necessary. Customers may be asked to return items to us for repair or replacement, we cannot be held accountable for collecting faulty goods.

Incentives/Discounts

Marine Fish World may, from time to time, offer incentives or rewards on the purchase of some goods and are subject to change.
Incentives or rewards including electronic gift vouchers or subscriptions will be issued no earlier than 30 days from the purchase date.  
To redeem a gift voucher, simply enter the code at checkout.
To send a gift voucher, please ensure you enter the name , address and email address of the recipient at checkout.
Sales and redemption of all gift vouchers are recorded.
If you have received a discount code from Marine Fish World, enter this information at checkout.
Please note that if you require a refund for goods bought with a discount code within 14 days of the sale, you will only be refunded what was paid, not the full cost.
If you are returning a non-faulty item 14 days after purchase, refunds may be subject to a restocking fee of £20 and be deducted from your refund.

We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Solo & Electron. All card transactions are handled via secure services provided by Lightspeed. To complete a card payment, you will be asked for the cardholders billing details including full name, address, postcode and any security passwords that may have been put in place by the card provider (completed via your banking app). Failure to provide this information may result in a delayed or failed transaction.
 
PayPal
 
You can also pay for the order via PayPal. All Paypal payments are covered by their Buyer Protection and User agreements. At the checkout you will be directed to the Paypal online payment portal where the transaction can be completed. You will then be re-directed back to our website to confirm and complete the order.

We offer a Pay In 3 via Klarna. At checkout, click the Klarna button and you will be directed to Klarna’s website to complete the application process. You will then be redirected back to our website.
