The EcoTech Radion G6 XR30 Pro is the latest addition to the EcoTech line, succeeding the highly acclaimed and extensively utilized XR30 G5 Pro. While the G6 retains the same external platform as the G5, it boasts significant enhancements in light output and colour. (Please note that the mounting bracket is not included.)

The G6 introduces a new LED cluster and a hybrid hemispherical edge illuminating optical system, elevating the Radion’s capabilities from top-tier to astonishing. EcoTech has designed the G6 to deliver the pinnacle of what contemporary technology can provide, allowing you to experience more vibrant colours, enhance fluorescence, and achieve the perfect balance between crisp and actinic lighting.

Since the inception of the Radion series, EcoTech has consistently aimed to define the standard for full-spectrum aquarium LED lighting. The G6 continues this tradition, pushing the boundaries of colour rendition and fluorescence without sacrificing the renowned flexibility that caters to user preferences.

The G6 now incorporates 395nm diodes, extending further into the UV range to achieve unprecedented levels of coral and fish coloration. Both the pro and blue models feature a rebalancing of colour channels and LED mixes to augment the most flexible and balanced spectrum achievable in aquarium lighting.

This new balance unlocks the 395nm spectrum reach and reduces the mid-range spectrum, allowing for more power to be directed towards photosynthetically beneficial spectrums without increasing the running wattage. This means you get more Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) for your money.

The new lens, specifically made for the G6, combined with its LED placement and form factor, now delivers a stunning shimmer with excellent color mixing and an incredible spread. This results in more PAR thanks to the new LED layout, and it provides an extremely even PAR distribution.

Additionally, the new lens and LED combination offers an added benefit. The new spread causes your aquarium glass to reflect light back into the tank, ultimately reducing shadowing and providing light to the undersides of corals.

The XR30 Pro G6 is equipped with a total of 100 LEDs: 16 cool white, 32 royal blue, 16 blue, 4 red, 6 green, 4 new 395nm, 2 405nm, 4 415nm, 8 430nm, and 8 warm white. All these, set to 100% power, consume a reasonable 215W. This wattage is at max power; when lowered in the Mobius app, the power consumption will decrease.
