The Red Sea Reef Care Program Stage Two Algae Nutrient Control includes one of each of the following test kits:

• Red Sea Phosphate Pro Test Kit
• Red Sea Nitrate Pro Test Kit

All Pro Test Kits come in a durable plastic housing and use optically clear, analytical lab-grade glass test vials and are used for testing both Nitrate and Phosphate in the aquarium.

These kits can be used as part of the Stage 2 – Algae Nutrient Control in the Red Sea Reef Care Program. This stage provides a complete solution for testing and controlling nuisance algae and promoting coral coloration. To control these NO3 and PO4 levels, use the NO3:PO4-X treatment.

The NO3:PO4-X is a comprehensive, reef-friendly, manageable solution for nitrate & phosphate reduction. It stands as the original, safest, most favoured, and superior solution that offers a full, reef-friendly, manageable method for nitrate and phosphate reduction, thereby enhancing coral growth and colouration in any reef or marine fish system. Unlike alternative methods, the monitored administration of NO3:PO4-X biologically diminishes both nitrate and phosphate, while facilitating the fine tuning of their levels. This fine tuning permits gradual alterations and ensures precise upkeep of algae nutrient levels needed to safely minimize nuisance algae and bring the symbiotic zooxanthellae algae to the optimal levels necessary for enhancing coral growth and coloration.

NO3:PO4-X is a distinctive complex of carbon substances and other organically bound elements that boost the activity of nutrient reducing bacteria, which naturally occur in all marine aquariums. Each carbon source in the complex is exploited by different strains of microorganisms and in conjunction with the balanced ratio of enzymatic co-factors guarantee a comprehensive and safe denitrification process (nitrate reduction) and phosphate reduction in the aquarium.
